Prepress
On demand, we take care of the creative side
of your printed matter; or you provide us with a complete
layout on computer file in accordance with our indications
which you can find on this website.
In
our photogravure department your visual material is skilfully
scanned on our high-resolution scanners, after which a digital
Cromalin colour proof is made. Thanks to our own colour management
system the Barco screens and the Cromalin proofing system
are a perfect match with the printed result.
Our Heidelberg JDF Workflow automatically produces
a pre-flight of the delivered files; the client receives ripped
colour proofs on paper or by way of Remote Proofing (FTP).
When the client has approved those proofs, an
imposition proof is made for internal control; after this
additional phase, the plates are made on our CTP-installations.
We
have two Heidelberg Computer-To-Plate installations, which
are calibrated daily; in order to obtain optimum quality out
of the visual material, specific graphs are used dependent
on the paper, regardless of the prototype.
Moreover, both machines can flash with conventional
and satin screens.
Thanks to the CIP3-support from prepress, the
adjustment of the colours on the printing presses is guaranteed
for 85%; the printer only has to fine-tune.
