Overall project on durable production

On 4 March 2009 Geers Offset Printers and Electrabel signed a contract for the supply of electricity of 100% renewable sources, so-called 'green energy'.

Choosing 100% renewable energy means that Geers Offset Printers emphasize their commitment in favour of a more rational consumption of natural resources.

The use of renewable energy fits into an overall project on durable production which was launched a few years ago.

The overall project includes, among other things, alcohol reduced printing, the use of FSC certified environment-friendly paper and the strategic management of waste treatment.
