Digital Proofing with Heidelberg Remote Access
With Prinect Remote Access, Geers Offset takes a further step in the successful digital processing and follow-up of source material the customer sends to us in digital format.
This revolutionary proofing system, developed by Heidelberg, uses a secure network to present a virtual representation of what will ultimately be printed. Customers can have a look at the material ripped, and inspect and annotate it, as though it was stored in their own computer.
This way of proofing is better than the conventional paper-based proofing network, because of the fact that changes can be processed immediately.
Moreover, each page has to be signed electronically before it can be placed in imposition and printed.
In addition to better communication and a streamlined follow-up of your projects, we can offer the additional benefits of shorter lead times (sending the proof back and forth by post will be eliminated), and tougher deadlines.
